Larry
James is a residential designer with vast experience whose name reaches thousands of new
families worldwide every year through the sale of his home plans. His work is distributed
by some of the largest publishing companies in the nation such as Better Homes &
Gardens, Home Planners,Architectural Designs, HomeStyles and Builder
magazines. Homes by Larry James have been featured in these publications since 1974
including Larry’s personal residence.
Larry
began designing house plans in 1972 after receiving his Master’s degree in Art and
Design from the University of Louisiana in Monroe. He also studied Classical Architecture
at New York University. Larry is a Certified Professional Building Designer and a
member of the American Institute of Building Designers. His designs have been recognized
in their National Design Competitions where he has received first place awards for his
design work and for the quality of his working drawings.
Larry
James’ designs have continued to evolve over the past 30 years, but his constant
attention to detail and his dedication to tradition and comfort have been his keys to
success. The number of Larry James designs built worldwide every year proves it; he has
the ability to create house plans that are sure to become homes!
